Happy Dragon City Culture Hotel: Central Beijing Stay with Local Insights

During my recent stay at Happy Dragon City Culture, I was impressed by the helpfulness of the staff. When I arrived, I was given a room on the 1st floor and found it to be quite cold. after requesting to be moved, the staff quickly accommodated my request and provided a room on the second floor, along with a heater. I also enjoyed the lively atmosphere at the bar, where I had the opportunity to meet new people. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its friendly staff and vibrant ambiance.

I recently stayed at this luxurious hotel and was incredibly impressed with my experience. The location is perfect, just a 10-minute walk from Denshikou station along a charming 'hutong' alley. It was such a delight to be surrounded by the cute traditional houses in this area of Beijing. The staff provided exceptional service, going above and beyond to meet my needs. Despite my request to wake me up in the morning because of my flight, they were quite lazy and asked if I didn't mind taking care of cleaning my own clothes or ironing my own things, even though they have a paid service provided. Nonetheless, the room was spacious and comfortable, with amenities like heating, air conditioning, and a sitting area. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms made it easy for me to stay connected, and the flat-screen TV and curtains added to the overall comfort. The dining options were excellent, with a restaurant and bar/lounge area serving delicious meals and refreshing drinks. I also appreciated the convenience of the airport shuttle service and the laundry facilities.

Despite the minor issue with the morning wakeup call, I highly recommend this place to everyone.

The bathroom was a little basic, with a wet room style layout, made it a bit messy after showering. Limited food options in the bar, would have liked to see more local cuisine available.

The hotel is really nice and new with perfect rooms. I loved the fact that they organize daily tours to the great wall and can book tickets for the Forbidden City. The staff were friendly and spoke good English. The location is central and close to the Forbidden City.

We absolutely loved staying at this hotel! It is located in a cute 'hutong' traditional area, which added a unique charm to our Beijing experience. The small alley it is situated in can be a bit tricky to find, especially if you go by taxi, but once you discover it, you'll be delighted by the traditional surroundings.

Despite these wonderful aspects, we did encounter a small inconvenience during our stay. The staff, particularly during the night shift, seemed a bit lazy.
